EU UNESCO4ALL TOUR programme comes to an end soon after 24 months of intense activity! We will be celebrating all together the results but the challenges as well we tackled during the implementation of the action. Do not miss the chance to join us at the final conference on March 10 at 12:00 PM CET. The UNESCO4ALL TOUR key players and protagonists sincerely invite all who stand for our mission: opening the access to the stunning EU World Heritage sites to people with visual impairments, but ultimately, all those who are passionate about “design4all” to join us!
UNESCO4ALL TOUR combines cultural heritages and assistive disruptive technology by Tooteko Arte™, offering people with visual impairments the opportunity to explore and enjoy art and admire beauty like never before! By simply touching the replica of the work of art (a cathedral, but ultimately the details from the work of art), people will get an audio track specifically elaborated for ensuring a seamless, engaging, multi-sensorial experience. The project was instrumental to validate the innovative tourism product in 4 EU UNESCO WH sites: the Archaeological Area and the Patriarchal Basilica of Aquileia in Italy; the Alhambra Palace, Generalife and Albayzìn, Granada in Spain; the Cathedral of St James in Šibenik, in Croatia; the Rila Monastery, in Bulgaria. Visual impaired people were invited to travel and to discover the EU WH sites and the unparalleled experience of the EU UNESCO4ALL TOUR project through the combination of technology, storytelling and 3D printing.
The final event will guide you through the storytelling of the project implementation, offering you insights from the perspective of the partners, testimonials from our travelers and interactive dialogues thanks to the participations of speakers from the cultural and creative sector, such as: Danièle Wagener, Massimo Negri and Dirk Houtgraaf. Additionally, the Forum of Slavic Cultures will be also hosted during the event.
