Travel and Tourism websites are the appetizer to a destination. The content presented offers up a sneak peek for visitors and entices them to want more.

AMNY Travel & Tourism will explore the importance of adding interactive elements to travel and tourism websites during a free webinar on Wednesday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The webinar is called “How to Effectively Use Interactive Content to Preview Travel Destinations”.

In this hour-long webinar, will highlight two creative website elements – interactive maps and 3D tours – that add interest and engagement to a website. These interactive video elements help set the right expectations with potential visitors providing a preview for an in-person visit.

Travel and Tourism marketers can register for this free webinar HERE.

Nicole Barry, AMNY Creative Services Consultant along with Bridget Cerrone from AMNY Travel & Tourism will lead the discussion. Content will focus on interactive video and 3D video as interactive creative website elements and how travel and tourism marketers can best utilize them to drive interest in NYS travel destinations.

Interactive Maps embed hotspots on a map which are clickable and provide additional information such as photos of locations, videos or written descriptions giving further interest to a destination or community. 3D Tours mimic a live walk through of a space and can also include hot spots – revealing more information or insider tips for visiting a destination.

“Travelers love to research a destination before adding it to their must-see or must-do list,” said Bridget Cerrone, Senior Account Executive at Advance Media New York. “3D Tours give them a sneak peek at a location while interactive maps help with planning out the other details of their visit like where to stay, the proximity of sites and attractions, and where to make reservations for dinner.”

Cerrone will be one of several AMNY Travel and Tourism marketing professionals contributing to the conversation, along with Nicole Barry of the AMNY Creative Services Team. Together they will discuss the role of this technology in marketing strategy. The conversation will also touch on the time, budget and planning required to produce these types of creative executions.

Registration is now open for this webinar. Travel & Tourism marketers interested in attending can register HERE.

Interested but cannot make the live event? Recordings will be made available to all registrants.
