Solutions for post-pandemic recovery in Tourism, Hospitality & Gastronomy

About this event

Modul University Vienna, Falkensteiner Ventures, and Talent Garden Vienna join forces to present:

“Innovate to Recalibrate! Solutions for post-pandemic recovery in Tourism, Hospitality & Gastronomy”.

The Covid 19 pandemic has disrupted many sectors. With this event, we would like to analyze two of them that have been strongly affected by this crisis: hotel & hospitality and food & beverage.

Crisis provides an opportunity to rethink one’s business, to recalibrate it to new quality standards. One crisis always leads to change, and therefore to innovation and self-improvement.

It will be interesting to understand what the consequences have been for companies in these sectors. And above all, what solutions have been adopted to deal with this unprecedented situation.

We will explore this topic with the help of several experts and great innovation enthusiasts. The event will be entirely in English and will be structured in two parts:

– a panel discussion moderated by Petra Hauser (country manager at Talent Garden Austria) entitled “Industry meets research: perspectives on innovation in Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy to recalibrate in a post-pandemic world” with experts from AblnBev, Falkensteiner Ventures and Modul University.

– a pitch competition, during which several start-ups will compete, exposing their ways of innovating the tourism and food & beverage sectors.
